SomaBox Grant Launch | 2026

This January, we were honored to host the official launch of the SomaBox Grant Program, a new initiative aimed at providing SomaBox devices to schools in Rwanda.

A Gathering of Leaders

The event brought together educators, government officials, and community leaders to celebrate the power of technology in education. It was a momentous occasion, gathering interested parties from various sectors, including the Ministry of Education, the Rwanda Basic Education Board, and representatives from numerous schools and organizations.

Demonstrating the Future of Learning

During the launch, attendees witnessed firsthand the capabilities of the SomaBox device. A live demonstration showcased how the device creates a localized digital library and learning management system, fully operational without a live internet connection. Teachers and administrators had the opportunity to explore the interface and see how it could directly integrate into their daily curriculums.
